DIY - Do it Yourself

Hey there, it's nice to see you came back. If your starting here, I only ask that you go to the previous post, "What is the Designing Process Like" so that you may be caught up to speed.
So far, we've been over five tips. Naming your brand, protecting your intellectual property, the digital tools needed for designing, and the assets needed to help cut cost. I have two more gems that you are also vital to your brand development/creation.
Tip #6 - Shooting A Lookbook
As i stated in the previous post, in order to separate your brand from the rest you to show customers the value in your brands products. In fashion, the most popular way to do that is through photo shoots which overtime creates a look book. "Once all product has been created, the marketing material showcasing the items will need to be produce", (Virgil Abloh). Here are some links on how you can create a lookbook yourself,
Cameras are crazy expensive these days, so if you do not own an iphone, or don't think your skilled enough to take high quality pictures than you can always outsource the job to someone else while you explain the vision. (https://youtu.be/rEg0HCtgCjg)
Tip #7 - Shopify
There's more than one to create a website, not to mention the plethora of free services/trials out there you can use. In my opinion though, shopify works the best of all them. Shopify does an amazing job of tracking traffick, marketing, as well as keeping up with sales data. This is a handy tool when trying to grow your brand or trying to file taxes. "you will need to link it to a system that will help consumers purchase products. Shopify will help you do this and also help you organize in the backend shipping and logistics" – Virgil Abloh
